The lovely lady was born in San Mateo, California in February 1938. Rumor has it that her childhood was tumultuous and led her to drop out of High School and toil away at crappy jobs for years. Finally Diane found her way to Los Angeles and took a keen interest in the fine arts. Lucky for us, too! Due to her contact with actor Jeff Corey, she was presented with the opportunity to audition for a role on Peyton Place (1957). The film made Diane Varsi a star, but it was years later in her perv-formance on Bloody Mama (1970) made the hairy palms at Skin Central see stars. In that classic exploitation by director Roger Corman, Shelley Winters stars as Ma Barker, with Robert De Niro starring as one of her murderous boys. But it’s Diane in her sole skin onscreen who steals the show. The small-breasted beauty is seen in bed topless with some of the sharpest nipples this side of a needle factory. You may wonder why a sexy piece like Varsi would only get nude once. Unfortunately we’ll never know because she died in 1992 from complications linked to Lyme disease.
